Link-and-sew extensions, or micro-link extensions, has gained popularity for being a natural-looking hair extension option for those who still want to feel their own hair. This technique is recommended for adding length and volume to your natural hair. Compared to hair braids, micro-links are flatter and less detectable to the touch. This hair extension method does not cause stress or hair loss to your own hair caused by tugging and pulling.
- Service every 6-8 weeks
- Hair can be reused for over a year
- Adds length & volume
How To Install Link & Sew Extensions
Similar to a hair weave, this technique uses micro-links at the scalp instead of braiding the hair. Your hair is pulled through the links from both sides to form a linked row. Weft hair is then sewn to the linked row of hair at the scalp.
The rows lay flat on your head to reduce pulling, friction and hair loss.
They generally last 6-8 weeks and can be washed/styled as you would your own hair. A professional is recommended for removal so you don’t cut your own hair by mistake.
