HairPlaceNYC is a leading hair salon in NYC. But more than a typical salon, our goal is to help those with medical hair loss look and feel like themselves again. Through our Free Wigs for Wigs program, we donated $500 to Children With Hair Loss, a non profit organization that gives free wigs to kids with cancer.
Andrew DiSimone, the salon’s owner, created his own brand of wigs for those undergoing chemo. He also volunteers weekly at the American Cancer Society cutting/styling wigs at the Hope Lodge in Manhattan, and sponsors Free Wigs for Kids, a non-profit organization that helps parents with kids in need find wigs.
