We wanted to get a free wig for our daughter, Jozlyn M, who lost her hair. She was diagnosed with Pre-B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on September 25, 2012. We searched Google and found HairPlaceNYC, a salon in New York City that specializes in wigs for cancer.

Since we were from out of town, we only spoke to Andrew DiSimone, the salon’s owner, over the phone. Andrew provided a wig to our daughter. We are so grateful to Andrew and his team for giving us a free wig. Our daughter was very happy to revive it.
Our daughter’s treatment plan
Jozlyn’s remaining plan of treatment is vincristine in her port on October 3. She will have a spinal the beginning of November, & her last dose of oral chemo & vincristine is scheduled for November 29 (she will get to ring the bell). For the next 12 months, Jozlyn will continue her blood counts and physicals. 6 months after treatment they will remove her port, GOD WILLING.
